Welcome to Malpas on the Web
Use the links above and to the right to learn more about the community, history and life in Malpas and the beautiful South Cheshire countryside. Whether you are a resident, visitor, or just browsing; all you need to know about Malpas is just a few clicks away. If you would like to tell us about an event in Malpas or have information you would like us to include on this site please email us with details or use the forums for general discussion and to let us know what you think.
As you may have noticed, the site has had something of a facelift. The idea is to make a site which the community can use to tell people about their news, events, issues or problems.
The Calendar on the left will show what’s going on in the near future – and a list of events is displayed on the right. If you are in charge of a club or organisation, please let us know and we can show you how to put your events onto the calendar and make announcements..
We now also have a blog reporting on events and issues in and around the village – see here.
The Forum section is intended to be a place where people can discuss, well whatever they like – we’ll leave that to you. We’ve suggested a few start-up categories, but ultimately we hope this section will develop a life of it’s own.
Finally, we’d like to encourage you to get an account. (It’s all completely free of course) If you look at the bottom right hand side of your screen, underneath “Meta”, it says “register”? Whilst you’ll still be able to use this site without registering, having to enter your email address every time you want to post is likely to become annoying – and we’re keen you enjoy this site.

I am now a pensioner but remember quite clearly spending a holiday in a farm cottage in Malpas some 60 years ago, the highlight of which was helping in Dones (maybe Doanes) Dairy. It was where I first saw a television at the Manor House. Does anyone know anything about this dairy and where exactly it was in Malpas. Being a townee it really stuck in my mind – no electricity, paraffin lamps washing in cold water outside etc.
Hi no i din’nt but i do now thanks. i’m on it now just set it up. thank you.
just hope i can get some locals to pop into the shop now and let me know who they all are.
Thanks Richard – I’ve added your listing to the Business directory. Are you aware of the Malpas Biznet? – a recently formed group of local businesses, intending to act as a group for their mutual benefit. Their website is here.
