		<description>Malpas Family Weekend is June 25-27. It starts on Friday June 25, with an organ recital in St Oswald&#039;s Church at 7pm. Performing is Paul Derrett, with a varied programme of popular classics including Bach, Haydn and Elgar. Tickets are available from Angela Latham on 01948 860544, Bronwen Guest on 01948 861034, Helen Ravenhill on 01948 861166 or Elma Ebben on 01948 820656. 
At the same time there is a Beer Festival at The Red Lion from 8pm with a wide selection of real ales. This will continue throughout the weekend.
On Saturday June 26 from 11am to 2.45pm there is a Children&#039;s Art Exhibition at The Alport Primary School. Prize giving by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Chester is at 11.35. From 11.15am the is a Cycle Challenge in High Street. From 12noon there is a Hog Roast and BBQ on Malpas Recreational Ground - advance tickets only from Owens Newsagents. At 1.30pm there is a wheelbarrow race on the Rectreation Ground. St Oswald&#039;s is open for guided tours 2-6pm. from 10am to 3pm there is &quot;Healthy Living&quot; with West Cheshire Primary Care Trust at the High Street Church. From 3pm there is a Fashion Show at The Jubilee Hall. There is a Treasure Hunt and BBQ at Malpas Farmers Club from 6pm. The Lions have a Fun Day at Malpas Recreation Ground all afternoon, including a fun fair, balloon race, bouncy castle, cocnut shy and refeshments.
On Sunday there is a Bowls Day at Malpas Farmers Club from 10am - tickets are available from Owens Newsagents. There is a special Childrens&#039; Service at St Oswald&#039;s Church at 10.45am.
